I grew up with these statues of the Virgin Mary. Believe it or not, I believed I was actually going to be a nun one day! Then I met a hippie. But I adore the images, always have. You are doing them justice from what I am seeing throughout your entries here. Very very nice. Maybe one day you might want to see if any of my kimonos might fit into your work....
